G-Dragon Fascinated by Reaction Videos, Felt Nervous at MAMA?

To celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, Mnet aired the first episode of its special program, “Mnet 30th Anniversary Chart Show”, on March 6 at 9:20 PM (KST). In this program, legendary performances and iconic moments from four of Mnet’s most representative productions, which have been selected as “Visionary” works, were introduced in a chart format. 

The 1st episode focuses on the K-pop awards ceremony “MAMA AWARDS”, showing the top 10 moments from this event as chosen by global viewers, was unveiled during the broadcast. Here, G-Dragon and Taeyang’s performance of “Good Boy” assumed 1st place, drawing attention.

G-Dragon, who appeared on the show, was asked if he knew about Taeyang tripping on stage, to which the male idol responded, “I didn’t know, I didn’t know when I was on stage, even when I was monitoring the stage I still didn’t realize it. I found the people that noticed it even more amazing.” Additionally, according to G-Dragon, he asked Taeyang to fall again and the latter tried to do it again but failed.

Then, when asked how he felt to perform at MAMA again after 9 years, G-Dragon said, “Because I’m back after being on hiatus, everything felt like it’s my first time doing it all over again, since it’s been a while so I was nervous, there was some excitement as well, I was a bit overwhelmed with emotions.” The male idol then expressed fascination with the cameras filming reactions, adding that he had a lot of fun watching reaction videos of other artists. 

Meanwhile, “Mnet 30th Anniversary Chart Show” will continue with a total of four episodes.
